Stained Glass for Everyone - Ruth Stephens

Welcome you to the wonderful world of stained glass! This two-day Stained Glass Workshop with Ruth Stephens, an “award winning” Stained Glass Artist, is a great way to “get your feet wet”. Learn all the steps for making a 10 x 10 inch Stained Glass Panel from start to finish in the traditional Tiffany Copper Foil method. For this project you will choose from our selection of traditional Design templates, ensuring optimal learning shapes. This will teach you how glass ‘behaves', the key to creating your own designs for future projects.

* Glass Cutting: Scoring/cutting various types of glass

* Grinding: Grinding the edges of cut-glass pieces using a Grinder

* Copper Foiling: Applying adhesive copper tape to glass edges "Tiffany method"

* Soldering: Using soldering iron and solder to join the foiled pieces together

* Finishing: Applying patina (color change) and polish to the solder lines
